Responsibilities

About the Role We’re looking for a highly consultative Sales Lead / Founding Account Executive to convert a strong pipeline of warm, signal-driven leads into active commercial accounts. This person will work directly with our Marketing Engineering team, which generates high-intent prospects across the skin, hair, and scalp care ecosystem. This is not a traditional cold-calling role. The focus is on taking qualified inbound and signal-generated opportunities, running strong clinical and product demonstrations, communicating ROI, closing equipment and recurring-revenue packages, and building a repeatable sales process. Key Responsibilities 1. Consultative Closing & Pipeline Management • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through demo, trial/proposal, negotiation, and close. • Conduct high-converting product demonstrations for clinic owners, medical directors, estheticians, dermatologists, trichologists, and other providers. • Clearly explain clinical mechanisms, treatment outcomes, workflow integration, and business ROI. • Help prospects understand treatment pricing, margins, room utilization, patient throughput, upsell potential, and payback period. • Close capital equipment, subscription, consumable, and bundled commercial packages, typically within a 14–45 day sales cycle. 2. Marketing Engineering Collaboration • Work closely with the Head of Marketing Engineering to provide real-time feedback on lead quality, firmographics, objections, and buying signals. • Help improve automated inbox responses, booking flows, follow-up sequences, and nurture campaigns. • Use data-enriched CRM systems such as HubSpot, Close, or Salesforce to enter each sales conversation with strong context on the prospect’s business, services, and existing technology stack. • Feed sales insights back into the marketing engine so targeting and conversion improve continuously. 3. Sales Playbook & Strategy • Build repeatable demo flows, discovery frameworks, objection-handling scripts, ROI calculators, proposal structures, and clinical sales collateral alongside the founder. • Map decision-making processes across independent practitioners, physician-led medspas, and multi-location clinic groups. • Establish and track core sales metrics including win rate, average contract value, demo-to-close conversion, sales cycle length, and pipeline velocity. • Help create the foundation for scaling the sales organization and eventually adding additional AEs or sales support. Candidate Requirements Experience & Domain Expertise • 3–7+ years of B2B closing experience in medical aesthetics, medical devices, professional skincare/dermatology, scalp or hair care systems, or SaaS sold into medical practices, salons, or medspas. • Demonstrated success consistently meeting or exceeding quota, ideally $750K–$1.5M+ in annual sales/ARR or equivalent transaction volume. • Experience in an early-stage, entrepreneurial, or high-growth environment strongly preferred. • Strong understanding of clinic economics, including treatment margin, room utilization, practitioner labor, patient lifetime value, recurring consumables, and equipment ROI. Mindset & Skillset • Strong technical and clinical fluency. Must be comfortable discussing treatment protocols and concepts relevant to estheticians, dermatologists, trichologists, and clinic owners. • High-velocity closer who can manage 15–25 active demos or high-intent sales conversations per week without losing control of follow-up. • Comfortable selling to entrepreneurial practice owners who make decisions quickly but expect clear clinical and financial justification. • Highly organized and disciplined in CRM management, follow-up, forecasting, and pipeline progression. • Comfortable with modern sales technology, AI-assisted CRMs, Gong, Loom, automated scheduling, and data-rich prospect profiles.
