Responsibilities

Responsibilities: - Assist the operations team in the day-to-day execution of solar energy projects, ensuring tasks are completed according to project timelines. - Support site-level coordination and monitoring of solar installation activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. - Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, site logs, and inventory tracking. - Coordinate with field technicians and contractors to facilitate the smooth flow of materials and equipment to project sites. - Assist in the preparation of project status updates and performance reports for management review. - Conduct basic data entry and administrative tasks related to solar project operations and procurement. - Participate in site visits to observe installation processes and assist in troubleshooting minor operational bottlenecks. Site Execution & Field Operations: - Execute daily site surveys, structural roof measurements, and module layout planning using personal two-wheeler travel. - Oversee material unloading, structure alignment, and mechanical torque checks for mounting systems. Electrical Wiring & Commissioning Support: - Apply practical electrical knowledge (AC/DC distribution panels, cable sizing, earthing systems). - Run conduit pipes, pull heavy-duty cabling, crimp MC4 connectors, and assist in inverter integration. - Connect module strings to Array Junction Boxes (AJB) and main AC distribution boards under supervisory guidance. Quality Control & Preventive Maintenance: - Perform voltage checks, current testing, and phase-continuity tests using multimeters and clamp meters. - Conduct routine site audits, panel array cleaning checks, and electrical connection tightening. Field Safety & Reporting: - Enforce strict site safety protocols including high-elevation harnesses, insulated footwear, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) rules. - Log daily site progress reports, bill-of-materials usage, and equipment maintenance sheets.
