At OneSpan, we specialize in digital identity and anti-fraud solutions that create exceptional and secure experiences.We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Belgium and shape the future of our Hardware Security Solutions.Key responsibilitiesDesign and develop innovative and esthetically pleasing products combining plastic and electronic components suited for mass-productionBuild and test prototypes (3D printing)Design for cost optimization (VA/VE) and design for assemblyCreation of 2D and 3D technical drawingsMechanical validation of key components and injection plasticsDesign of test fixturesMaintenance and optimization actions on our current product lineEnvironmental testing and validation of prototypes during the different stages of the product developmentCommunication with our part suppliers and EMS partnersRequirementsYou have obtained a Master in Product Development, Industrial Design/Engineering or equivalent by experienceSeveral years of experience in plastics and injection moulding design combined with electronic components You have extensive knowledge of 3D CAD tools (preferably PTC Creo)You have experience with Graphic tools such as Adobe Photoshop / IllustratorKnowledge of a Product Life Cycle Management System (e.g. PTC Windchill) is a bonusDesign creativity and problem solving is a mustYou are an experienced and communicative designer who can work independently and preciseQuality and detail are of high importance to youYou are a team player with a hands-on mentalityEager to learn new developments in the market (design, technology, production techniques)Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g. KeyShot) is a plusLanguage skills: English, Dutch and/or French
