Workload
* Full-time (40 hours/week)
* Fully remote
Responsibilities
* Participate in architectural design and technical decision-making for new and existing back-end services.
* Implement, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and well-documented APIs and microservices.
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to team standards and industry best practices.
* Design, implement, and optimize complex database schemas, queries, and data migration strategies.
* Manage and automate deployment pipelines, configure infrastructure, and ensure system reliability through monitoring and logging.
* Identify and address security vulnerabilities, implementing best practices to protect data and systems.
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the stack, from application logic to infrastructure.
* Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Mentor other specialists, conduct code reviews, and improve documentation and team processes.
Required Skills
* Minimum 2 years of professional experience in back-end development.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
* Clear and concise English communication (Intermediate+).
Preferred Skills
* Experience with Rust, Python, or C++.
* Professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and at least one major relational database (PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
* Experience building and integrating with Firebase services and APIs.
* Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
* Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or Pulumi).
* Experience with CI/CD automation.
* Familiarity with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure).
* Knowledge of container orchestration with Kubernetes and service mesh technologies.
* Experience with DevOps practices and principles.
