NYPCC is seeking a Community Engagement Specialist who will conduct outreach and engagement activities to facilitate collaborations with community-based organizations. This is a field-based position requiring daily travel within Brooklyn and the Bronx. The right candidate will work closely with the Senior Manager of Community Outreach and Engagement to develop and implement a strategic outreach plan, identify and engage community organizations, and coordinate outreach activities. The candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish, have experience in community outreach, and possess strong communication and organizational skills. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, offering job stability, growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment. Responsibilities: - Conduct telephone, written, and face to face outreach and engagement activities - Develop and implement a strategic outreach plan - Identify and engage community and faith-based organizations - Plan and coordinate outreach activities in designated areas - Attend various events and meetings to inform organizations about NYPCC's services - Support with organizing and facilitating NYPCC workshops and agency presentations - Plan and coordinate activities to develop linkage agreements with other community organizations and agencies - Maintain outreach logs and complete tracking tools - Attend training and professional development as required - Carry out other duties commensurate with the job title as delegated by Supervisor
