Cleo is seeking a Lead Product Designer to join a new design-led, cross-functional squad focused on evolving, improving, and implementing Cleo’s nascent design system - Cleonardo. The role involves supporting the squad with auditing and prioritizing Design System work, building relationships with key stakeholders, and contributing to cross-cutting strategic design projects. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing design systems they have created or largely contributed to, proven experience in designing and launching for both desktop and mobile environments, and a deep understanding of creating usable, accessible, and modular designs that can scale to millions of users. The role also requires experience working and collaborating with diverse teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment, as well as a track record of creating and managing impactful design systems and processes. The successful candidate will be impact-driven, experienced in working closely with engineers and other designers, and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy creating structure, and have a deep curiosity about people's relationship with money. The hiring process includes an initial 30-minute intro phone call, a case study and experience interview, and a final 45-minute values interview with cross-functional peers from the Product and Engineering teams.
