WE'RE HIRING: LEVEL 1 TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN. Work Arrangement: Hybrid/Remote with occasional office attendance. Location: Bogotá D.C., Colombia (preferred). Contract Type: C2C – Full-time. Schedule: Monday to Friday. Job Description: - We are hiring a Level 1 Technical Support Technician to provide first-level technical assistance to users, resolve common technology incidents, and ensure a fast and efficient support experience. - This role is ideal for professionals with initial experience in help desk, user support, equipment configuration, and troubleshooting basic IT infrastructure issues. Main Responsibilities: - Provide first-level technical support to internal and external users. - Handle requests via phone, email, and other support channels. - Diagnose and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues. - Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment. - Configure user accounts, access, and passwords. - Resolve network and connectivity-related incidents. - Log, document, and track tickets and incidents. - Analyze reported problems and determine the best solution or escalation. - Maintain up-to-date documentation on procedures and solutions. Requirements: - Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent. - Minimum experience: 2 years in IT technical support or help desk. Basic knowledge of: - Hardware and software. - Operating systems. - Networks and connectivity. - User and access management. - Technical incident resolution. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - English level: Minimum B2 (required). Compensation: - COP $3,700,000 maximum monthly (C2C).
