Our mission is to manage our clients’ technology and mitigate their cyber risks, so that they don’t have to.Harbor IT | Remote with Travel | Reports to CROThe Oil, Gas, and Energy Practice Lead is responsible for helping Harbor build a credible, relationship-driven presence in the independent energy ecosystem. This is not a traditional technology sales role. The right person already knows the right independent players, can get meetings quickly, understands how lean energy companies really operate, and wants to help build a practice. This role carries a quota for net new ARR and is expected to help create and convert opportunities into new recurring revenue in the vertical.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild relationships with independent producers and independent-friendly energy services companiesOpen doors for Harbor through existing trust-based relationships in the energy communityIdentify opportunities where Harbor can help with managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and strategyHelp shape Harbor's go-to-market approach for the energy verticalAct as a trusted connector between Harbor and the broader independent energy ecosystemCarry and perform against a quota for net new ARR in the energy verticalWhat Success Looks LikeHarbor is known and trusted in the independent energy ecosystemThe Practice Lead is opening doors to the right companies and decision makersHarbor is building relationships and opportunities with independent producers and the firms around themThe energy vertical gains real momentum rather than just surface-level visibilityRequirements and What You BringTypically 7+ years in the energy ecosystem, although the real test is network quality, credibility, and recent activity. We are not looking for a network concentrated in majors or giant oilfield services companies.
