As the Manager of Pricing and Analytics you will play a pivotal role in developing a pricing, promotion, and markdown strategies that maximize the profitability of Rugs USA. This role will have broad exposure and an opportunity to forge new pricing and analytics capabilities for Rugs USA.Essential Job FunctionsEstablish and maintain a clear pricing architecture that aligns with overall merchandising and channel strategiesManage markdown pricing process and analysis to balance maximizing sell-through and margin on all clearance and discontinued sku’sMonitor product and category profitability to proactively recommend price changes to maximize revenue and profitabilityDevelop reporting to monitor competitor prices and make recommendations for price adjustments based on competitor positioningForecast the impact of price and promotion changes to the business and analyze the financial impact of the changes post implementationCollaborate with Marketing and Ecommerce teams on promotion and pricing strategies including during large holiday sales eventsImprove the sophistication of pricing analysis through the development of elasticity analysis and improved forecasting toolsYou HaveBachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field; Advanced degree a plus4 to 6 years experience working in a retail or ecommerce business with experience in pricing analysis preferredExcellent data analysis and analytical skills and comfort analyzing very large data setsPrior experience creating forecasts is requiredExpert using Microsoft ExcelFamiliar with financial and statistical analysisExperience with SQL, Python, or R a plusComfort with data visualization and analysis software including Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikYour Life and Career at RugsUSAA culture that promotes a healthy work/life balanceBenefits package offered to all eligible full-time employees (including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k)Exposure to career advancement opportunities across all departmentsGenerous employee discount that can be used across our house of brands!
