Responsibilities

Creative Director – Video Producer Director Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Department: Marketing Role Purpose We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-on Creative Director – Video & AI Production to lead the development and production of high-quality creative content from initial idea through to final delivery. The role requires someone who can take a business brief, marketing objective or initial idea and turn it into a complete creative concept and final product. The successful candidate will lead the creative direction, storytelling, scripts, visual treatment and production process while managing designers, copywriters and AI production resources. This person must be equally comfortable developing the idea and ensuring that it is properly executed. The role will combine traditional video production, live-action content, CGI/renders and AI-generated content into one consistent and premium final output. The ideal candidate should come from a strong creative or advertising agency background, preferably with experience working on the Saudi market and premium, luxury, real estate, hospitality, destination, lifestyle or similar high-quality brands. Key Responsibilities • Own the full creative process from brief and ideation through concept, script, storyboard, production, post-production and final delivery. • Translate business and marketing briefs into strong creative ideas, campaign concepts and video/content treatments. • Personally provide creative direction and ensure that the original idea is properly reflected in the final product. • Develop and review concepts, scripts, storyboards, mood boards, visual references, shot lists and creative treatments. • Lead the production of brand films, campaign videos, property videos, social content, digital advertising, launch films and other high-impact creative material. • Direct the integration of architectural renders, CGI, real-life footage, photography and AI-generated video/content into one seamless final product. • Work closely with AI Video Producers, providing clear direction on scenes, visual style, characters, environments, movement and overall storytelling. • Understand the capabilities and limitations of generative AI sufficiently to guide the AI production team, review outputs and decide where AI should or should not be used. • Work closely with copywriters to ensure the script, messaging, voice-over and visual storytelling work together. • Lead and manage the designers and AI production team, setting priorities, assigning work, reviewing outputs and maintaining quality standards. • Provide strong art direction covering composition, cinematography, styling, casting, locations, visual identity, pacing, editing, music and sound. • Direct internal teams, production houses, agencies, photographers, videographers, editors, animators, CGI artists and other external suppliers when required. • Ensure consistency between the brand identity and all creative outputs across video, digital and social channels. • Review edits, visual effects, color grading, sound design, voice-over, animation and AIgenerated material before final approval. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure deadlines are met without compromising creative quality. • Work closely with Marketing, Content, Digital, Social Media, Development and senior management teams. • Present creative concepts and treatments clearly to senior management and incorporate feedback without losing the strength of the creative idea. • Keep the creative function updated with developments in AI video production, generative content, CGI, motion design and emerging production technologies. • Build an efficient internal creative production workflow that reduces unnecessary dependency on external agencies while maintaining agency-level quality. • Establish clear quality-control standards for all creative and video outputs. Required Experience The candidate should have experience in advertising, creative, content or video production, with several years in a senior creative leadership position such as Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, Executive Creative Director, Senior Art Director with production ownership, or Creative/Video Production Director. Strong advertising or creative agency experience is highly preferred, particularly someone who has personally worked on integrated campaigns rather than only managing accounts or projects. The candidate must demonstrate a portfolio showing clear ownership of projects from idea/concept through final production. The portfolio should include video or film work and should clearly demonstrate storytelling, art direction and production quality. Experience managing multidisciplinary creative teams is essential. The person should have previously managed or directed designers, copywriters, video producers, editors, animators, CGI artists or similar creative resources. Experience working with AI-assisted or generative content production is strongly preferred. The candidate does not need to be an AI engineer, but must understand how AI-generated imagery and video can be incorporated into professional production and must be capable of directing AI production specialists. Experience integrating CGI, architectural renders or 3D content with live-action footage would be a strong advantage, particularly for real estate and destination marketing. Saudi Arabia or GCC market experience is strongly preferred, with a good understanding of local audiences, culture and premium brand communication. Excellent English communication is required. Arabic would be a strong advantage. Preferred Background Candidates from leading advertising, creative, digital, production or content agencies in Saudi Arabia or the GCC would be particularly relevant. Experience with premium sectors such as real estate, luxury, hospitality, tourism, destinations, fashion, automotive or lifestyle would be advantageous. A bachelor's degree in Advertising, Film, Media, Communication, Design, Visual Arts, Marketing or a related field is preferred; however, a strong portfolio and proven creative leadership are more important than the specific degree.
