About the roleIf you're excited to join an established, growing Fractional CFO firm, then this role could be for you! Ascent CFO Solutions is looking for a top-notch Recruiting Director to join our team!This is a sole contributor recruiting role — you will be the only recruiter at the company and will not have direct reports. You will play a critical part in building our team from the inside out, hiring fractional financial professionals for our internal team as well as sourcing interim talent to serve our clients. This role will also sit on the internal leadership team, helping drive impactful decisions forward.Responsibilities for RecruiterSource candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipelineScreen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screeningsTake ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirementsLead recruitment efforts for internal fractional financial professionals joining the Ascent CFO Solutions team from the Senior Accountant level all the way up to CFOSource and place external interim financial professionals to support client engagementsPerform reference checksStay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices, including AIManage the overall interview, selection, closing and offer letter processEnsure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulationsBe familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenuesCollaborate with the Leadership Team, including weekly leadership meetingsQualifications for RecruiterMust have Accounting & Finance recruiting experienceAgency Recruiting experience strongly preferred5+ years of recruiting experienceEffective communicatorAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently juggle multiple tasks at onceDemonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trustExcellent organizational and time management skillsComfortable making decisions independentlyWorking knowledge of applicant tracking (ATS) and HRIS systemsAbility to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholdersWorking knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methodsUnderstanding of employment laws and regulationsAble to make decisions based on ambiguous/incomplete informationGreat follow up skillsExperience managing a funnel or pipelineCompensation$130k-$150k plus bonus potentialAbout Ascent CFO SolutionsAscent CFO Solutions is a team of fractional financial professionals with deep and diverse experiences who thrive in multi-faceted roles.
