We help organizations grow through Salesforce implementation, marketing automation, and custom application development.As a Salesforce for Nonprofits: Business Analyst you’ll work closely with clients to provide post implementation support, system optimization, and/or ongoing administration as contracted.This is a 1099 contract part-time position.How You’ll ContributeProvide system administration, design, and optimization services inline with Managed Service contract engagement standards and SLAsEducate, guide, and empower clients in the Idealist WayBalance response times and approvals across multiple assignmentsPlan activities from requirements to solution design using prescribed project management tools and delivery methodologies to ensure continuity in communication and project qualityEscalate client or consultant capacity concerns to Client Success for resolution supportDesign and implement Salesforce solutions, to meet client needs, identify opportunities for business process and system alignment and optimizationFacilitate client need assessment, through user story collection, grooming, and prioritizationFavor declarative configuration with custom fields, objects, layouts, views, reports, dashboards, and automationSupport validation and user acceptance testingEnsure data integrity, hygiene, and securityProvide documentation to empower client understanding and ownership of their systemFacilitate the selection and implement third-party solutions and applications as neededTranslate client business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the platforms, products, and applicationsLead data mapping efforts during solution design and implementation phases, ensuring data integrity and usability across systemsProvide on project mentorship for Jnr Consultants and new hiresAssist Sales and Services Teams in preparing estimates for implementation, providing detailed level of effort estimates for proposed solutions and Alert Client Success of new opportunities as identifiedStay up to date on Salesforce best practice, ecosystem trends, and product releasesAdvise and train clients on product enhancements, new functionality, and adoption opportunitiesYour Background IncludesBaseline Expectation:1–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Salesforce Consultant, with hands-on experience in Salesforce implementations (Experience Cloud and or Agentforce Nonprofit NPC preferred)Current working knowledge of Salesforce for nonprofits recent releases and roadmapAble to solve automation requirements with FlowExcellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audienceAbility to balance multiple project assignments at one timeCreative and analytical thinking with a passion for solving customer problems with software solutionsUnderstanding of nonprofit business process and complexitiesExtra Credit:Salesforce certifications such as Experience Cloud, Agentforce Nonprofit, and/or Agentforce SpecialistPrevious experience as a Salesforce for Nonprofit consultantExperience managing projects or engaging in projects with technical and cross-functional componentsA Little More About UsIdealist Consulting was founded in 2006 by returning Peace Corp volunteer Rob Jordan to help nonprofits and progressive organizations grow mission impact through technology.
