The Opportunity:We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the IT team’s goal of implementing new mortgage technology and managing the ongoing support of the Visio ecosystem of platforms. The person will have the opportunity to document solutions that leverage several systems and platforms within the Visio technology ecosystem that supports the DSCR loan type (Business Purpose Loan). These platforms leverage embedded configuration tools to create workflow automation to streamline various functions across the mortgage loan lifecycle.Core responsibilities include facilitating client (business users) conversations to collect business requirements, writing business requirement documents (BRD) and test cases, performing minor system configuration, business analysis, data analysis, and UAT support. This role entails working closely with business users, developers, system analysts, PMO as well as Visio’s product & strategy team, and senior operations leadership.What You'll DoFacilitate client conversations for requirements gathering, creating and documenting business and/or technical requirements, and test cases to support application development, unit testing, and User Acceptance TestingCollaborate with clients, operations, and/or vendors to understand business requirements, with the ability to convert requirements into effective documentationConvert requirements into effective workflow design documentationWork effectively across multiple cross-functional teams such as operations, application development, product management, and key vendor partnershipsSupport quality assurance (QA) and user acceptance testing (UAT), reporting bugs or defects.Work with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and quality project completion.Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needsWork Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CSTAuthorized Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, SC, TX, UTSalary Range: $75,000 - $90,000What We Are Looking For:High school diploma/GED equivalent5 years of Business Analyst / Requirements Gathering experience3 years of direct mortgage lending related experienceExperience working on projects related to the mortgage loan lifecycle from Origination through Post-ClosingDeep knowledge of the mortgage loan process with experience in origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing.
