Requirements and responsibilities


Responsibilities ● Work with attorneys to obtain medical records, bills, and insurance information for injury claims. ● Draft, organize, and maintain legal documents including demand letters, medical summaries, case intake notes, and correspondence in both English and Spanish. ● Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjusters via phone, email, and messaging in English and Spanish. ● Assist attorneys with personal injury case management, including updating case files, tracking deadlines, and organizing records. ● Review, translate, and proofread legal documents, medical records, and client communications for accuracy and clarity. ● Assist with medical records requests, bills, and documentation related to personal injury claims. ● Support attorneys with legal research and preparation of case materials when needed. ● Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client and medical information. ● Obtain HIPAA certification upon hire if not already certified (training may be provided). Requirements ● Fluent in English and Spanish with excellent written and verbal communication in both languages. ● Experience supporting U.S. personal injury law firms or legal offices preferred. ● Familiarity with case management, demand preparation, medical records, and insurance claims is highly preferred. ● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ● Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously. ● Reliable high-speed internet connection and professional home office setup. ● Quiet work environment required for client communication. ● Ability to work independently and communicate proactively with attorneys and staff. Compensation: $8 to $11 per hour depending on experience with U.S. personal injury law firms
