Requirements and responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business and technical requirements to create test strategies and test cases. - Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and/or desktop applications. - Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. - Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, and product teams. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). - Validate fixes and perform re-testing. - Ensure software meets quality standards before release. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in software testing / QA. - Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC. - Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, etc.). - Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation. - Familiarity with Agile methodology. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, TestNG). - API testing experience (Postman, REST Assured). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. - ISTQB certification (nice to have).
