Responsibilities

🚀 The Tantra Institute is looking for a freelance Social Media Manager (Content + Growth) We’re not looking for someone to “post content.” We’re looking for someone who understands how to build attention, create community, and turn it into real-world impact. At The Tantra Institute, we create transformational experiences around connection, dating, and relationships. Your role is to help us translate that into content that people actually care about — and act on. 🎯 What You’ll Be Responsible For - Plan and execute weekly content (Instagram-focused, with expansion to other platforms) - Create and edit Reels, carousels, and static posts (CapCut, Canva, Figma) - Turn our existing videos, photos, and emails into social media content that sparks conversation, saves, and shares - Actively engage with our audience: --> Reply to comments & DMs --> Start conversations (not just respond) --> Participate in Facebook groups & communities to organically attract the right audience - Propose and test new content ideas, formats, and growth strategies - Track performance and adjust based on what’s actually working 🧠 This Role Is NOT Just Execution You will: Think strategically about what to say and why Understand what makes content perform Help us position the brand as a leader in relationships & connection You don’t just manage pages. You help build a brand people trust. ✅ Requirements (Non-Negotiable) - Proven experience managing social media for brands or businesses - Strong portfolio (we want to see content + results) - Solid understanding of content strategy and social media behavior - Strong copywriting skills (hooks, captions, storytelling) - Comfortable creating video content (Reels) using tools like CapCut - Experience with Canva and/or Figma - Ability to analyze performance and adapt quickly - Self-managed, proactive, and reliable - Excellent English communication skills 💡 Bonus Points Experience with U.S.-based brands or audiences Experience in wellness, dating, relationships, or personal growth spaces Experience driving engagement + leads (not just views) 🚫 This Opportunity Is NOT For You If You need constant supervision You just follow trends without understanding strategy You struggle to take ownership or propose ideas You disappear when things get hard ⚡ Final Note We move fast. We value ownership. We care about impact — not just activity. If you’re excited about building something meaningful (and know how to make content people actually engage with), we want to meet you.
