About the roleSwoop is searching for a creative and data-driven Communications Manager to join our Marketing Team. This role will support our content marketing efforts on social media, with a primary focus on LinkedIn. The ideal candidate is an expert in community management and eager to expand their strong written and verbal communication skills into public relations and industry awards. The position will report to the VP, Content & Campaign Strategy. It’s designed for candidates experienced in AdTech and HealthTech marketing, preferably with an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.What you'll doWork in close collaboration with the VP, Content & Campaign Strategy to craft Swoop’s comprehensive social media strategy and calendarCreate relevant social posts, short-form video, and content to help Swoop build authority as the omnichannel marketing partner of choice for pharmaceutical brandsCreate engaging, industry-relevant content that aligns with Swoop’s brand voice and fosters meaningful interactions with our audienceMonitor Swoop's LinkedIn engagement and messagesLead awards roadmap and entry writingAssist in drafting and distributing press releasesDevelop and maintain relationships with industry journalists and media outletsMonitor industry news and competitors’ and partners’ social media for opportunities for Swoop to contribute expert commentary on relevant topicsCompile actionable insights on PR, social media, and awards to create data-driven strategiesPrepare regular reports on key metrics in social media, PR, and awards for leadership and internal communicationsCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teamsSupport paid campaign asset development and reporting as neededQualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, social media, or related field — or equivalent experienceFive to seven years of experience in social media management, preferably in B2B, healthcare, advertising, or AdTech industriesStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven expertise in LinkedIn strategy development and community managementExperience reporting social media analytics to internal stakeholdersBasic graphic design and video editing skillsExperience using Canva and Adobe Premiere brand-compliant templates for content creationAbility to adapt writing style to various audiencesExcellent time management, organizational, and project management skillsAttention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverablesStrong analytical and data interpretation skillsCreative thinking and problem-solvingProficiency in Google Workspace, Asana, Microsoft 365, Canva, and Adobe Creative CloudIdeal Candidate BackgroundThe ideal candidate for this position has a background that combines LinkedIn expertise with a growing interest in broader marketing and public relations.
