What you will do:The Strategic Business Consultant plays a critical role in driving business growth and operational efficiency through rigorous analysis, strategic insight, and clear executive communication. This role is responsible for analysing operational performance, assessing market dynamics, and developing financial models that inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capability with business acumen and excels at distilling complex information into concise, actionable recommendations for senior leadership.ResponsibilitiesOperational & Market AnalysisConduct in-depth analyses of operational performance, process efficiencies, and business drivers to uncover opportunities, inefficiencies, and emerging risks.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyse progress against strategic and operational goals.Prepare high-quality reports, dashboards, business cases, and executive presentations that clearly articulate insights and recommendations.Perform market and competitive analysis to identify trends, shifts, and strategic implications for the business.Financial Modelling, Scenario Analysis & M&A SupportBuild and maintain financial models, including forecasting, scenario planning, cost-benefit analyses, and sensitivity analyses to inform strategic decisions.Support M&A acquisition activities, including financial due diligence, valuation modelling, synergy assessment, and integration planning.Evaluate partnerships, investments, and other strategic opportunities to guide leadership decision-making.Strategic Planning & Executive SupportAssist in the development of annual strategic plans, multi-year growth strategies, and executive briefing materials.Provide timely, well-structured insights that enable leaders to make informed, high-impact decisions.Stay current on industry trends, technological developments, regulatory changes, and competitive movements that may influence the organisation’s strategy or operations.Qualifications/Skills:To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, or related field2–4 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business analytics, or a related roleStrong quantitative and qualitative analytical skillsProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbalProven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated expertise in applying structured problem-solving methodologies to analyze complex business challenges and deliver data-driven strategic solutionsWhat we offer:At Workplace Options, we don’t just deliver wellbeing services to our clients, we champion wellbeing for our own employees as well.
