Trueline’s client, a boutique real estate law firm with a fully remote team based in Southern California, is seeking a Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join their growing practice. This full-time position requires managing real estate disputes from intake through resolution and taking an active role in developing client relationships across California.THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSITION ONLY!MUST BE BARRED IN CALIFRONIA AND RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA! NO EXCEPTIONS!What You’ll Do as the Real Estate Litigation Attorney:Handle all phases of real estate litigation, from case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement negotiations, through potential appealCraft litigation strategy and lead negotiations to secure favorable outcomesResearch and advise on complex real estate law issues and transactional risksDraft and review litigation and transactional documents specific to real estate mattersBuild and manage new client relationships, generate leads, and contribute to business development, especially within the Southern California marketMust-Haves as the Real Estate Litigation Attorney:Minimum THREE years of real estate litigation experiencePrior experience billing hourly and accurately tracking timeJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active, in good standing membership with the California State BarStrong writing, analytical, communication, and advocacy skillsProven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote work environmentDetail-oriented with a high commitment to client service and ethical standardsAbility to manage priorities and multiple tasks effectivelyPrior experience working remotely and eagerness for continuous professional growthA self-starter mindset with interest in community and professional engagementNice-to-Haves as the Real Estate Litigation Attorney:An existing book of business in real estate litigation or related transactional workDemonstrated success in client generation and referral network developmentExperience mentoring or leading litigation teamsAmbition to grow into a leadership role in a future regional officeThis Role Offers:Competitive base salary in the range of $150,000–$200,000, based on experienceBonus potential tied to KPIs and any transferred business brought inComprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) with matchingFully remote position that will remain remote—no return to office requiredRequired minimum of 1,440 billable hours per year, with bonus opportunities for exceeding billable targets and greater flexibility for business development timeClear path to equity partnership and transparent performance metrics to maintain equityEquipment, software, and phone stipend for remote work
