In this role, you will partner with Trility clients, taking them from “napkin to production.” You will listen to their challenges with empathy while using your unique problem-solving skills to discover the right approach and deliver value throughout the engagement.You’ll play a key role in accelerating report development to keep pace with rapidly evolving data models—transforming complex datasets into meaningful, actionable insights through efficient, high-quality reporting solutions. This role is ideal for someone who can jump in midstream, work independently, and build high-quality, efficient solutions using tools like Power BI, Paginated Reports, DAX, and SQL.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Power BIDesign and develop interactive, user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards that meet client specificationsBuild and maintain a large number of Power BI Paginated Reports based on existing SSRS reports; deep experience with paginated reporting is essentialIntegrate Power BI with various data sources within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, and others, ensuring seamless data connectivity and processingLeverage Microsoft Fabric Semantic Models to enhance Power BI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performanceImplement data modeling, transformation, and visualization best practices within Power BI to promote data accuracy and integrityExperience working in an agile software environmentEmploy best practices in information security for cloud-based data environmentsPresent technical information to non-technical stakeholders with excellent written and verbal communication skillsRequired qualifications2–3 years building with Power BI, including report/dashboard creation, modeling, and data transformationDeep expertise in DAX, SQL, Power Query, and data modeling best practicesExperience with Azure Data Services and other Microsoft data sourcesFamiliarity with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem and how it integrates with Power BIMust reside within the United StatesMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the futureMust be able to pass a background checkHow we put you firstWork remotely anywhere in the United States with flexible work hoursSponsored and supported learning opportunitiesContract detailsThis is a remote 4 month - 1099 contract position.
