Reporting to the Manager of Licensing & Credentialing, this role will support and drive licensing-related projects across multiple states.As a growing startup, this role requires adaptability — licensing priorities and responsibilities may evolve based on business needs. The Licensing Specialist (Contractor) will play a key role in supporting provider onboarding, managing licensure processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable state regulations, including collaborative practice agreement requirements where applicable.What You’ll DoManage end-to-end provider licensing, including application preparation, submission, and follow-up across multiple statesCoordinate and track licensing timelines, proactively following up to avoid delaysAssist with the development and maintenance of workflows and processes for licensing operationsSupport the execution and management of Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs) across applicable statesEnsure compliance with state-specific CPA requirements, including supervision ratios, documentation, and renewal timelinesProactively follow up with providers and collaborating physicians to obtain required CPA documentation and signaturesCoordinate the preparation, distribution, and completion of CPA agreements via DocuSignMaintain accurate and up-to-date CPA and licensing records within Verifiable and internal tracking systemsMonitor CPA expiration dates and ensure timely renewals and updatesPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure CPA requirements are met prior to provider activationProvide subject matter expertise on licensing requirements, including collaborative practice agreements (CPAs) and state-specific regulationsPartner cross-functionally with internal teams to support licensing and onboarding needsWhat You’ll Bring2+ years of licensing experience, preferably within healthcareHands-on experience working with Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs)Familiarity with Nursing Compact Licensure (NLC) and multi-state practice requirementsExperience submitting and managing license applications for Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, and Medical DoctorsFamiliarity with multi-state licensing processes and regulatory requirementsExperience using credentialing and licensing systems such as Verifiable and/or SalesforceStrong organizational, project management, and follow-through skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentBachelor’s Degree preferredWho You AreYou are highly detail-oriented and comfortable navigating multiple systems, evolving workflows, and state-specific regulatory requirements.
