Responsibilities

I'm hiring a Staff Product Designer. The role is real, the problems are hard, and the title isn't decorative. What I mean by that: you won't be a senior designer with a fancier name and a seat at a meeting nobody wanted. The work is cross-cutting. You'll shape how design decisions get made across multiple teams, not by owning a surface but by raising the bar for how everyone around you thinks about the work. The product operates at genuine international scale. Different markets, different regulations, different user expectations that can't be templated away. The complexity is structural, not cosmetic, and the staff role exists because that complexity needs someone who can see across it.I've hired a lot of designers over the years. The ones who work at staff level tend to share a few things. They have strong opinions but update them when the evidence changes. They make the people around them better without making it about themselves. And they know the difference between a decision that needs more research and one that just needs someone to make it.If you've spent the last year wondering whether the right senior role would ever show up, it might be that the right role isn't senior. Some people are ready for staff before anyone offers it to them. If that's you, I'd rather have the conversation now than wait for a recruiter to find you in eighteen months.Remote friendly. Multiple locations. I'm the hiring manager.DM me a link to case studies and portfolio. And yes, no recruiters needed. They'll laugh. They always do.
