Python & AI Specialist for Next.js Web App (LabTech) We are Be2Byte – Shaping LabThunder to revolutionize laboratory efficiency with AI. LabThunder is an innovative software solution designed to revolutionize the way laboratories work. Our mission is to make laboratories more efficient, sustainable, and independent by combining smart digitalization with powerful AI integration. We tackle key challenges in the lab world, such as the loss of knowledge, inefficient processes, and complex technical documentation, by providing intelligent tools that transform the way lab teams manage systems, data, and troubleshooting. To strengthen our mission, we are looking for a Python specialist to support us with the AI integration for our platform. The project is a web app based on Next.js with a relational PostgreSQL database. Our goal is to integrate AI-powered features that can: • Analyze and extract data from complex technical documentation (similar to academic manuals) with tables and nested information. • Execute prompts as query prompts to intelligently interact with our database. • Important: The Python code will run as a microservice that communicates with the web app. Therefore, the specialist must be capable of working with: Python (for AI, extraction & microservice architecture), as well as Next.js routing and PostgreSQL queries. Must-have: • Strong experience in Python (AI integration, complex text & table extraction), experience with microservice architecture. • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and crafting query prompts. • Basic understanding of Next.js routing and how to connect the web app to the Python service.
