Position overview: We are hiring a Head of Finance to lead all financial operations across our portfolio of companies. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, overseeing reporting and forecasting, managing external vendors, supporting leadership with data-backed insights, and ensuring seamless financial operations across the organization. Key responsibilities: Financial strategy & leadership: * Own and manage all financial reporting cadences across the organization. * Forecast financial performance across both businesses and track key KPIs. * Support the leadership team with data-driven insights for decision-making. * Lead financial reporting in executive meetings. Oversight & vendor management: * Directly manage the AP Specialist. * Oversee third-party vendors, including a bookkeeping firm and sales tax provider (Numeral). * Ensure vendor processes are accurate, consistent, and reliable. Cross-functional support: * Collaborate with marketing to provide campaign performance and margin insights. * Partner with operations for inventory planning and cash forecasting. * Tools & systems: * Own and maintain financial systems (QuickBooks Online, etc.). * Optimize processes for timely, accurate reporting and compliance. Qualifications: * 5–8 years of experience in finance or Financial Planning and Analysis. * Strong background in Direct-to-Consumer or ecommerce business models. * Experience with QuickBooks Online. * Proven ability to manage vendors and internal staff. * Exceptional forecasting, reporting, and analytical skills. * Strong written and verbal English communication skills. * Proactive and independent working style, especially in remote teams. Nice-to-haves: * Experience in a portfolio-based business or startup environment. * Familiarity with ecommerce metrics and forecasting tools. * Interest in music or live events culture.
