💼 Job Description:
We’re hiring a Trade Operations Lead to oversee Pomintel’s pomegranate trade infrastructure in India. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role focused on managing supplier pipelines, freight coordination, pricing visibility, and operational reporting.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands both agriculture exports and logistics, and can work comfortably with farmers, freight providers, and executive teams. Your mission is to ensure Pomintel has full visibility and leverage over India’s pomegranate trade system.

🛠️ Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate India-based sourcing agents.
• Vet and oversee relationships with exporters and freight/logistics vendors.
• Monitor pricing, volume, and trade seasonality.
• Maintain and update key operational documents and dashboards.
• Report to central HQ with weekly trade insights.
🎯 Ideal Background:
• 3+ years in export trade, especially fresh produce (bonus: pomegranate/agriculture experience).
• Logistics or freight forwarding experience preferred.
• Comfortable speaking to stakeholders across different cultures.
• High integrity, high execution — can lead locally and report globally.
🌍 Location: Based in India, ideally with access to key pomegranate regions (Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, etc.).
