Responsibilities: - Creating Special Effects and integrating them in-game to provide visual user feedback for features like damage and destruction, vehicle weaponry, explosions, and many other exciting features. - Researching and developing technical solutions for gameplay features as we add more and more modular components to the game. - Development and optimization of shaders using shader graph editors and\or scripting. - Development, balancing, and optimisation of lighting, shadows, reflections, and post-process effects. - Profiling and identifying bottlenecks in art content performance and quality for multiple platforms from min-spec to high-end. - Rigging and animating mechanical hard surface models (e.g. the moving parts of a car engine). - Working closely with the other artists in the team to assist them technically. - Developing tools to speed up and improve art pipelines and processes. - Researching and staying up to date with the latest developments in technology relating to Unity HDRP and any other external tools and technology that can contribute to Techblox becoming a standout and unique game product.
