Responsibilities
Jelou is seeking a highly skilled Lead UI/UX Designer who will spearhead the creation of exceptional conversational product experiences to drive business objectives and ensure successful client outcomes. As the lead, you will leverage your expertise in UX/UI and conversational design principles to elevate our conversational product design through rigorous user research and testing methodologies.
To excel in this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and technical experts across Jelou.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Manage the design process, ensuring adherence to timelines, and overseeing the successful delivery of projects by the design team.
- Lead the creation of intuitive user experiences based on a robust Design System.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into compelling and innovative experiences.
- Develop user journeys, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes across various devices and interfaces.
- Produce both low- and high-fidelity artifacts and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and intent.
- Collaborate closely with developers and technical resources to implement conversational AI solutions seamlessly.
- Drive user research initiatives, including planning, prioritization, gathering feedback, and creating actionable insights.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of project requirements by conducting extensive user research, user testing, and designing immersive interactive experiences.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising Designers, Developers, and Product Managers to craft superior user experiences and refine product design strategies.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven experience in UI and UX design, with a strong emphasis on leadership roles.
- Impressive portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of user experience and product/platform design, along with successful project executions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or other industry-standard prototyping tools.
- Demonstrated experience in designing within the framework of a Design System.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, coupled with outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Track record of thriving in Tech companies, with a keen understanding of industry trends and best practices.
- Proven capability to innovate and solve problems in unconventional and inventive ways.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently, driving initiatives, and delivering impactful results.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI Design, or related field.
- Experience in AI, chatbot strategy, conversation design, and optimization.
- Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to facilitate seamless collaboration with development teams.
