Requirements and responsibilities


Within a company specialized in Roads and Utility Networks (VRD), generating approximately €15 million in annual revenue. 🛑 Main Responsibilities 1. Management and Administration of the Engineering Office * Team leadership: Manage, coordinate, and schedule the work of design engineers, CAD technicians, and draftsmen. * Resource management: Define recruitment needs, assess competencies, and support employee training and development. * Budget monitoring: Ensure the financial profitability of engineering projects (compliance with allocated hours, study budgets, and margins). 2. Technical Project Management * Study supervision: Validate technical decisions at every stage of the project (feasibility, preliminary design AVP, project PRO, tender documentation DCE). * VRD expertise: Supervise the design and sizing of utility networks (wastewater, stormwater, potable water, dry utilities) and roadway geometric design (longitudinal profiles, cross-sections, earthworks). * Compliance and regulations: Ensure compliance with technical standards, environmental regulations (sustainable stormwater management, accessibility standards), and urban planning requirements. 3. Client Relations and Business Development * Tender submissions: Analyze tender documents, evaluate feasibility, and prepare technical and financial proposals (technical reports). * Client interface: Represent the engineering office during coordination meetings with project owners (local authorities, private developers) and utility providers (Enedis, GRDF, telecom operators). 🛠️ Required Skills 1. Technical Skills (Hard Skills) * Industry software proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and specialized applications for terrain and network design (especially Mensura Genius or Covadis/Autopiste). * Urban hydraulics: Strong expertise in retention basin calculations, pipeline sizing, and stormwater runoff management. * Regulatory knowledge: Good understanding of public procurement regulations and NF/Eurocode standards. 2.
