About the roleGenesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, forward-thinking Senior Technical Business Analyst and Federal Travel and Expense (T&E) Subject Matter Expert with a passion for growth and business transformation for a Federal client in the Washington, DC area. Your clients are some of the world’s leading companies, and you will be part of challenging projects to build and support technical solutions for their needs.Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain T&E business modeling, process modeling, and T&E service configuration design documents for the client initiative.Conduct assessments of current and future state needs and perform gap analyses; provide corrective action as applicable.Participate in evaluation requirements and test scenarios.Develop related communications material to garner leadership and stakeholder alignment and endorsement.Provide advice and guidance to federal counterparts on industry best practices.Provide meeting management support as necessary.Minimum Qualifications/Experience4+ years of experience defining T&E services requirements and performance metrics through awareness of relevant Federal policies, research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable T&E commercial and Federal services.Knowledge of travel and expense software solutions such as SAP Concur or similar.FTR/JTR Subject Matter Expert.TMC (Travel Management Company) background and understanding of PNR elements.Strong Agile Project Management skills, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stakeholder alignment, iterative analysis, and delivery against milestones.Perform analysis of business and user needs and assess performance to defined requirements and performance metrics.Conduct assessments of current and future state needs and related gap analyses; provide corrective action and create deliverables independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.4+ years of experience documenting system documentation and requirements/traceability using a holistic requirements management tool, such as Jira.4+ years of experience in a Digital Business Analyst, project management or similar role.Proven computer skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft suite (Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint, Word, Project, and Visio).Strong analysis and documentation skills for creating end-to-end business scenarios for the development of test cases and execution.Strong analytical and industry relevant product management skills, including a thorough understanding of interpreting customer business needs into operational requirements.Strong knowledge of web applications, client server applications, legacy applications, and database concepts.Apply business modeling, process modeling, and customer experience design techniques.Knowledge and ability to identify interdependencies of key business processes, functions, and risks.Minimum EducationBachelor’s Degree required.CertificationsPMP, CSM, ITIL, and/or SAFe certifications preferred.OtherMust be US Citizen.
