Hiring: BORUSG Power BI PublisherThe University System of Georgia (USG) is seeking an experienced Power BI Publisher / Power BI Developer to support a high-priority enterprise reporting modernization initiative focused on migrating approximately 400 IBM Cognos reports to Microsoft Power BI.The selected consultant will join the Enterprise Data Management & Analytics (EDMA) team and play a key role in dashboard development, report migration, analytics modernization, and production support.Key ResponsibilitiesMigrate IBM Cognos reports and dashboards to Microsoft Power BIDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and analytics solutionsDevelop enhanced reporting solutions leveraging Power BI best practicesBuild consolidated Power BI usage reports, KPIs, and metrics dashboardsSupport report production issues, testing, troubleshooting, enhancements, and maintenanceWork with business analysts, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and develop solutionsEnsure all Power BI solutions meet ADA Title II accessibility requirementsParticipate in Power BI workspace architecture, security architecture, governance, and version control processesCreate technical documentation and reporting standardsSupport enterprise data governance initiativesRequired Skills3+ years of Microsoft Power BI experienceExperience building: Dashboards, Reports, Crosstabs, Graphs, Scorecards, Metrics, Filters, Prompts, Executive Reporting Solutions3+ years of Microsoft Fabric experience3+ years of IBM Cognos experienceAdvanced Oracle Database experienceStrong SQL and PL/SQL skillsData modeling and analytics experienceStrong troubleshooting and debugging capabilitiesExperience supporting enterprise reporting environmentsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Higher Education data environmentsExperience with Student Information Systems (SIS)Knowledge of emerging analytics and data management technologiesExperience working in large enterprise reporting and BI programsWork Arrangement100% Remote AcceptedLocal Georgia candidates strongly preferredSend resumes to: careers@awsamerica.com
