Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced SAP BRIM Consultant with strong knowledge of Convergent Mediation and Convergent Invoicing to support end-to-end CPQ-to-BRIM data flows, billing processes, integration testing, and usage-to-billable-item reconciliation.The ideal candidate should understand CPQ contract terms, usage tracking, commitments, overages, mediation, invoicing, and event-driven integrations, along with strong SQL and troubleshooting capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and validate end-to-end usage data pipelines from Sales CRM/CPQ into SAP BRIM.Configure and troubleshoot Convergent Mediation.Support integration with Convergent Invoicing (CI).Manage billable-item disposition workflows, including invoice modifications, goodwill adjustments, BIT splitting, and composite BIT handling.Validate commitment-vs.-actual usage and billing reconciliation.Perform functional and technical CPQ-to-BRIM integration testing.Validate event schemas, payloads, transformations, retries, timing, and failure scenarios.Test bidirectional event flows between Sales CRM and BRIM.Validate threshold-based billing events and alerts.Test data transformation/mapping logic using AEM/BTP adapters.Identify and document integration gaps and timing issues.Create data mappings, event schemas, test plans, runbooks, and failure-recovery documentation.Query BRIM data and use SQL to troubleshoot billing discrepancies.✅ Must Have3+ years of SAP BRIM experience.Good knowledge of Convergent Mediation configuration.Good knowledge of Convergent Invoicing configuration.Strong understanding of mediation, rating, billing, and invoicing processes.CPQ cycle expertise, including contract terms, commitments, usage, and overage scenarios.Experience with integration testing and event-driven data flows.Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting.Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.⭐ Nice to HaveMediation rules & rating algorithms.Overage-event handlers and threshold-based pricing.Commitment burn-down and proration calculations.Usage data validation and exception handling.Mediation job scheduling and batch processing.Invoice templates, line-item logic, and aggregation.Tax determination and withholding configuration.Split/composite BIT handling.Invoice document type mapping and number ranges.Goodwill adjustments, write-offs, and credit notes.Invoice status workflows and dunning/collection triggers.Knowledge of SAP Advanced Event Mesh (AEM) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).Location: Santa Clara, CA – Remote💼 Type: Contract🛂 Visa: No CPT/OPT
