The Opportunity: - This is an in-house position working on the company's own books. - You will prepare the work for management team review and approval. - This is a full-time and fully remote role. Must-Haves: - Proven UK payroll experience using PAYE and National Insurance. - Filed RTI submissions including FPS and EPS. - Handled starters and leavers. - Managed pension auto-enrolment. - Processed statutory pay. - Proven UK bookkeeping experience including bank reconciliations and UK VAT returns. - Hands-on UK experience is essential. - The requirement is for this to be your only job with full attention. Your Responsibilities: - Prepare UK payroll for 50+ team members accurately and on time. - Keep the books for UK businesses up to date including bank reconciliations and VAT returns. - Handle payments to overseas contractors and subcontractors. Qualifications & Skills: - Background in bookkeeping and/or accounting. - ACCA, CA Inter or AAT is a plus. - Working knowledge of BrightPay and QuickBooks. - Strong written and spoken English.
