About The Role We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Marketing Coordinator to join our fast-paced media team. Reporting to the Marketing Manager and collaborating closely with the Brand Leader, VP of Content, and Sr. Director of Marketing, you’ll play a key role in executing integrated marketing campaigns that support a leading media brand and global member community in the consumer goods and retail sector. You’ll contribute to driving audience engagement and advertising opportunities for P2PI and their membership community, along with their associated events and awards programs. Ideal candidates bring strong copywriting abilities, fundamentals of email and social campaigns, a good eye for design, and a passion for delivering high-quality, results-driven marketing. Job Summary Support the execution of the overall marketing strategy for the Path to Purchase Institute media and events, to ensure fulfillment of sales, membership, brand, and event marketing objectives via a variety of marketing channels. Sales Marketing: Execute campaigns and initiatives to drive brand/product awareness with customers, members, sponsors, and prospects—creating demand, nurturing interest, and generating qualified leads to increase the overall sales pipeline. Liaison with the sales team to understand marketing needs and gather details on what needs to be communicated. Event & Award Marketing: Build creative for and deploy marketing campaigns for multiple B2B events and awards across the US commerce marketing market—driving interest, registrations, attendance, nominations, and sponsorship leads throughout the event & award cycles. This role may involve maintaining the event website and providing registration support to attendees occasionally, working closely with the brand team and with Event Operations. Brand Marketing: Support the overarching brand marketing strategy to communicate the value proposition of the brand and membership, elevating P2PI within the industry. Execute campaigns across a variety of channels, including email, programmatic, social media, and more. Liaison with the publisher and chief editor to understand key brand attributes to support marketing needs. Membership Marketing: Execute and manage marketing campaigns for P2PI membership growth and retention throughout the calendar year; working closely with the membership team. Job Requirements 2+ years of B2B marketing experience, including sales marketing, and event/webinar experience with retail and CPG markets preferred. Experience with membership marketing is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience Technical Proficiency Copywriting: Strong marketing copywriting skills with attention to detail. Writing marketing emails, social posts, and sales collateral. Design: A good eye for design and the ability to create visually engaging content. Software Experience Marketing Automation Tool: Experience with marketing data and ESPs, preferably Marketo. Design Tool: Experience with Canva or Adobe Suite is required. Proficiency in marketing platforms like Stripo, Hootsuite or Buffer, Swoogo, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Ads (or similar) is preferred. Soft Skills Process-driven & Organized: High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines at a time. Excellent prioritization and organizational skills are required. Collaborative & Good Communicator: You like to work with people. Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal is a must. Results-focused: Proactive and focused on continuous improvement. Uses constructive criticism to fuel successful outcomes. Adaptable: Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and efficiently in a fast-paced matrixed environment. Curious & Creative: You like to learn new things, delve into problems, and recommend & test solutions.
