Requirements and responsibilities

How you will help us grow:Support Precision Agronomist data operations in Advanced Agrilytics’ proprietary software platformPrioritize and schedule help requests; escalate requests, when necessary, to the appropriate specialist/technicianEvaluate documented resolutions for trends to prevent future problemsUtilize GIS for analysis, query and visualization of spatial dataOther duties as assignedExperience you bring:Two or four-year degree in an agricultural-related field (e.g., agronomy, soils, precision ag), geographic information systems (GIS), computer science or related fieldBasic knowledge of GIS software (Esri ArcGIS or open source alternatives)Experience with major digital ag platforms and their associated data (Precision Planting, John Deere, Case IH, Ag Leader)Use of Ag Leader SMS software for data conversion and processingWorking knowledge of different data types; including non-spatial and spatial formats, as well as data that are collected/output from digital ag equipment manufacturers and their cloud-based data warehousesPreferred skills you bring:Understanding of GIS software and data conversion practices involving off-the-shelf and in-house software toolsTaking an analytical approach to independent problem-solvingStrong customer orientationExceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and asking constructive questionsAbility to communicate effectively and facilitate knowledge transfer at varying levels of technical complexityAbility to work efficiently and accurately under time pressureWhat our culture brings:Competitive compensationCompetitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance401(k) Plan with company matchFlexible Time OffCollaborative, autonomous work culture where each person makes a difference!AI disclaimerWe may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses.
