AstroByteSync (est. 2019, New York) builds advanced web applications and recruits global tech talent. We're developing a next-gen cryptocurrency management and trading platform. Role Overview. We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Java Spring) to lead backend architecture, build secure and scalable APIs, and integrate with blockchain networks and crypto exchanges. Key Responsibilities. * Build and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot. * Integrate with blockchain networks and crypto APIs (ETH, BTC, BSC, Polygon, etc.). * Implement wallet management, transaction monitoring, and smart-contract interactions. * Develop APIs for price feeds, trading, and real-time data. * Ensure secure authentication (OAuth2, JWT, 2FA) and AML/KYC compliance. * Work on microservices, performance optimization, and message queues. * Collaborate with frontend and product teams in an agile workflow. Requirements. * 5+ years backend experience; strong Java Spring expertise. * Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge. * Hands-on blockchain and RPC integration experience (Web3j, JSON-RPC). * Understanding of wallets, keys, and HD wallets. * Experience with cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, and security best practices. * Strong communication skills in English. Nice to Have. * Real-time data and WebSockets. * Basic React knowledge. * Experience in fintech or trading platforms.
