U.S. Citizenship with the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation required.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain complex Angular 2+ applications, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable codeWork as a member of multiple scrum teams to develop, integrate, and deploy high quality reusable, testable, and efficient code including Microservices with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API'sCollaborate closely with UX designers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiencesImplement accessibility features adhering to Section 508 and WCAG AA guidelinesReview and interpret technical requirements, UI specifications, style guides, and YAML documentsParticipate in code reviews and implement various Git branching strategiesWrite Unit Test frameworks (JUnit, Mocking frameworks), code coverage, and code review and integrating work with GitLabOptimize front-end performance and ensure cross-browser compatibilityCreate and maintain custom Angular services, directives, pipes, and componentsDevelop responsive web designs using advanced CSS techniques and frameworksMinimum QualificationsPossess United States citizenship as well as the ability to pass the Public Trust 6C investigation and maintain eligibilityPossess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work/military experiencePossess the ability to travel to Washington, DC (estimated 10-25%)Possess at least 5 years of related experience in software development, including the following:Experience with JAVA and developing/maintaining backend APIsKnowledge of REST API, JSONExperience using API test cases in SOAP UI, PostMan, or ReadyAPIExperience implementing and maintaining Spring Boot applicationsExperience with git/GitLab DevOps/CI/CD platformExperience with common web development frameworks (Angular, Docker, React, Spring, Node.js, jQuery, Microservice Design, etc.)Experience with SQL and PGAdminStrong proficiency in Angular 2+ framework and TypeScriptExperience with Git version control and collaborative development platforms (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket)Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design techniquesExperience with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material DesignExperience working with complex systems migration involving multiple phases with dark reads, dark writes, light reads, light writesExperience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering teamPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of Amazon Web ServicesExperience with an IDE such as IntelliJKnowledge of React.js for potential multi-framework projectsKnowledge of UX design tools (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Proto.io, or Framer)Proficiency in Angular 14+ features, including standalone components and signalsExperience with ViewEncapsulation in AngularStrong background in RxJS and complex ReactiveForms implementationNoteThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.
