Role OverviewCompass Surgical Partners is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial performance across our ambulatory surgery center (ASC) portfolio. This role will partner closely with finance and operations leadership to analyze financial performance, identify key business drivers, and support decision-making through clear financial insights and modeling. The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in strengthening financial visibility across the organization and supporting Compass’ continued growth through data-driven insights and strong financial partnership with operational leaders.This position is open to candidates based remotely within the United States, with a hybrid option available for those located in the Raleigh, NC area.What You’ll DoFinancial Reporting & Performance AnalysisSupport monthly financial reporting for assigned surgery centers, including variance analysis and identification of key performance driversAnalyze trends in revenue, case mix, payer mix, and cost structure to help explain financial performanceWork with the finance team to translate financial results into clear insights that support operational decision-makingForecasting & PlanningContribute to quarterly and annual forecasting processes for assigned centersMaintain financial projections at the center and portfolio levelIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities that may impact financial performanceBusiness Partnership with OperationsCollaborate with center administrators and operations leadership to better understand operational drivers of financial performanceCommunicate financial results and insights to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and actionable wayFinancial Modeling & Decision SupportBuild and maintain financial models that connect operational metrics (volume, payer mix, utilization) to financial outcomesSupport ad hoc analyses related to operational initiatives, growth opportunities, and strategic decisionsReporting & Process ImprovementBuild and maintain scalable reporting templates and financial modelsIdentify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data visibility as the organization growsWhat You’ll BringBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related analytical field3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related analytical roleStrong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow)Strong Excel and financial modeling skillsAbility to analyze data and translate findings into clear insights for business partnersStrong communication skills and the ability to explain financial results to non-finance stakeholdersCuriosity and interest in understanding operational drivers of financial performancePreferred QualificationsExperience in healthcare services, multi-site businesses, or private equity–backed environmentsExperience working with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as TableauExperience working with financial systems or ERP platforms (e.g., Sage Intacct)Comfort working with large datasets and building dashboards to support financial reporting and operational decision-makingWhy Compass Surgical PartnersCompass Surgical Partners develops and manages ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in partnership with physicians and health systems.
