Requirements and responsibilities

FractalFin is hiring a Financial Analyst. Full time, remote.I am not going to list qualifications. I care more about how you think than what is on your resume. Can you look at a P&L and feel that something is off before anyone tells you where to look. Will you say "I got this wrong, here is the fix" instead of "I think there might be a small discrepancy."Will you ask a client's accountant "the March numbers dont tie to what you sent last week" instead of "just wanted to follow up on a few items."I need someone who's unafraid to be blunt, make mistakes or step on people's toes.I need someone who rechecks their own work not because they were told to, but because it bothers them when something is off. These are not skills. That is who you are. And I cannot teach that.CA Inter, CFA, MBA — all fine. But I have seen great resumes that cannot spot a broken formula, and scrappy people with nothing on paper who just get it. I will always pick the second one.Link below or Send me an email that would grab my attention - aditya@fractalfingroup.comNo CVs allowed
