We are looking for a Regional IT / OT Security Officer to coordinate IT security measures for automation systems in the chemical production area. This role involves developing, implementing, and improving central and decentralized OT security measures for the OT environment in three plants in NRW (Leverkusen, Dormagen, Krefeld-Uerdingen). The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, computer science, or a related field, along with expertise in network/infrastructure technology and security systems and regulations. Responsibilities: - Coordinate IT security measures for automation systems in the chemical production area - Develop, implement, and improve central and decentralized OT security measures for the OT environment in three plants in NRW - Act as a central point of contact for local organizations in each plant - Support DCS engineers with IT expertise in projects and general problem-solving - Execute and implement projects in the OT security environment according to the OT security strategy in NRW - Conduct threat and risk analyses and integrate them into the security architecture - Advise local DCS-OT Caretakers on technical security issues in automation systems - Create concepts for IT security measures in the production environment - Collaborate with DCS system engineers to implement cybersecurity measures for threat defense - Identify and report on the latest developments in cybersecurity and support local communication to raise awareness of the topic - Shape regional and global knowledge exchange on OT security for DCS issues involving experts
