Every minute 100 students around the world trust our platforms (e.g., mastersportal.com) to find their best matching education for free. At the same time, we help educators diversify their (international) student population and reduce dropouts. With forty different nationalities among the 150 people working at Studyportals, we are an international bunch of people. Eager to learn and serious about fun. We are looking for an experienced and proactive Software Engineer to join our Growth Team. The role involves creating new functionality, optimizing the existing ones to grow the number of visitors and increase the number of visitors using our core functionality. The role also involves helping us to become more scalable as a platform, by decoupling our dependencies and driving our microservice architecture. The candidate will also be responsible for sharing their knowledge with team members and developing themselves further as a developer. Responsibilities: - Create new functionality, and optimize the existing, to grow the number of visitors and increase the number of visitors using our core functionality. - Help us to become more scalable as a platform, by decoupling our dependencies and driving our microservice architecture. - Share your knowledge with your team members and develop yourself further as a developer by using your personal development budget to learn new technologies or methods.
