The Sr. EHS Specialist at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of associates in the Hematology and Urinalysis manufacturing and research operations in Miami, Florida. The role involves conducting incident investigations, implementing preventative actions, managing waste programs, and driving continuous improvement in safety. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Health and Safety, Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering, along with in-depth knowledge and experience in the EHS discipline, OSHA, and EPA regulatory requirements. Previous experience in FDA-regulated industry, medical device manufacturing, ASP/CSP certifications, and ISO Audits is a plus. Responsibilities: - Conduct incident investigations and implement preventative actions - Conduct training on corporate EHS standards and initiatives - Manage the site’s waste programs - Conduct Job Hazard Analysis for new or established equipment and processes - Analyze key performance indicators to implement applicable initiatives and drive continuous improvement in safety by participating in EHS Kaizen events
