Heartbeat Health is seeking a stellar Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to join our finance and executive team! You will be responsible for assessing contract opportunities for financial impact, leading the Strategic Planning Process, assisting with monthly business close and reporting, developing corporate KPIs and a metrics dashboard, and more. You should be highly skilled in Excel, comfortable working with remote teams, and have excellent customer focus. Prior work experience in, and understanding of, the startup culture is preferred. CPA & Health experience, as well as an MBA or Masters in Finance, is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assess contract opportunities for financial impact and develop potential models for risk-sharing and performance guarantees
- Lead the Strategic Planning Process in collaboration with senior management
- Assist with monthly business close and reporting
- Transition the Strategic Plan to an annual budget by department to drive outcomes and control spend
- Develop corporate KPIs and a metrics dashboard
- Ownership and continuous development of all financial models, budgets and the business plan as well as forecasts; unit cost and margin analyses
- Lead, measure and report performance against financial plans and metrics to quantify financial risks, opportunities and insights to the business
- Project support, on an ad-hoc basis, as a finance partner to the broader organization
- Fundraising support and investor relations and reporting
- Perform competitive analysis and research/understand market trends
- New market expansion analyses, strategy development and licensing/regulatory support
- Prepare long term forecasts as part of future fundraising
