With 100+ AI and custom software experts across engineering hubs in Lithuania and Poland, we embed ourselves directly into client operations — delivering custom software, automation, and AI where they drive the most value.We are seeking for a Senior Data Steward for our client from the banking sector.Job description:Supported data governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives within the banking sector.Contributed to BCBS239 implementation by identifying and resolving data quality issues.Maintained and enhanced business glossaries to ensure consistent data definitions across the organization.Implemented and monitored data quality controls to improve data accuracy and reliability.Defined and maintained end-to-end data lineage to support regulatory and business requirements.Collaborated with business and technology stakeholders to strengthen data management practices.Supported the enhancement of regulatory reporting processes and data governance frameworks.Ensured compliance with internal data governance standards and regulatory requirements.Facilitated cross-functional cooperation to improve data ownership, stewardship, and accountability.RequirementsExperience in data governance, data management, or similar rolesBanking or financial services industry experienceStrong SQL skillsData analysis capabilitiesUnderstanding of data warehousing and reportingKnowledge of database structuresExperience with MS OfficeExperience with JIRA, ConfluenceAbility to translate business needs into technical requirementsFluent English (written and spoken)Nice to Have Skills:Regulatory reporting experienceKnowledge of BCBS239Business knowledge of banking products, systems, and processesExperience with data lineage frameworksBenefitsDiverse and technically challenging projects.Flexible working hours and a hybrid or remote workplace model.Flexible schedule and an Agile/SCRUM environment.Technical equipment that you can choose.
