The RoleAs a Director, Client Strategy (Media Director), you are the senior strategic lead and business owner across a portfolio of high-impact client relationships. You serve as a primary lead for the client, bridging the gap between their bottom-line business objectives and our integrated marketing execution, ensuring that every engagement drives measurable business growth while strengthening long-term partnerships.You are responsible for translating complex business objectives into cohesive, full-funnel marketing strategies across the integrated media ecosystem. This includes architecting the media mix, aligning measurement frameworks, guiding audience strategy, and ensuring cross-channel execution ladders back to enterprise goals.Beyond strategy development, you are accountable for overall account health—including client satisfaction, retention, revenue growth, and profitability. You serve as a trusted advisor to executive-level client stakeholders while mentoring and leading cross-functional internal teams to deliver exceptional work.This role requires a balance of visionary strategic thinking and operational rigor. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.*This position may be performed remotely in most states within the US, with some exclusions**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!***This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorshipYou Will BeServing as the strategic lead and primary business owner across a portfolio of accountsDesigning and guiding multi-channel strategies across Paid Search, Social, Programmatic, Video, CTV, YouTube, Retail Media, and emerging platformsTranslating client KPIs, unit economics, and growth goals into structured media investment frameworks and budget allocationsLeading executive-level client engagements including QBRs, annual planning sessions, and high-stakes strategic presentationsIdentifying same-store growth and expansion opportunities while partnering with Business Development on new opportunitiesOwning account health metrics including retention, revenue growth, profitability, and delivery qualityEnsuring all deliverables meet strategic standards, align with SOWs, and drive measurable impactPartnering closely with Analytics teams to operationalize MTA, MMM, incrementality testing, and advanced measurement frameworksDriving structured test-and-learn roadmaps that unlock performance gains and future-ready innovationActing as the connective tissue between media, analytics, creative, and client leadership to ensure seamless, integrated executionLeading and mentoring channel team members, fostering accountability, growth, and high performanceElevating internal processes, planning rigor, and strategic storytelling standards across the organizationStaying ahead of industry trends, emerging platforms, and technology shifts to proactively guide client evolutionYou Must Have7+ years of experience in media, marketing strategy, or integrated client leadershipProven experience leading complex, multi-channel accounts with full-funnel strategy ownershipStrong financial acumen, including budget forecasting, revenue management, and profitability oversightDemonstrated ability to lead executive-level client conversations and influence senior stakeholdersDeep understanding of measurement frameworks including attribution models, incrementality testing, and media mix modelingExperience translating business objectives into integrated media, creative, and data strategiesExceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complexity into clear, actionable narrativesStrong organizational leadership skills with experience balancing strategic vision and operational executionBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent experienceNice to HaveExperience working within an agency environment supporting enterprise or high-growth brandsExposure to brand, retail, or streaming/entertainment clientsFamiliarity with advanced analytics tools and dashboard platformsExperience supporting new business pitches and commercial strategy
