JOB TITLE: Accounting LeadREPORTS TO: Director of OperationsSCOPE OF POSITION: An Accounting Lead is a part-time contractor role within the Accordus team. This team member fills critical accounting functions for Accordus clients, including both for-profit and non-profit accounting services. This role will be between 10-15 hours per week. This team member must have day-time availability to jump on accounting calls with clients. They should be US-based and work as the liaison between our US-based clients and our international team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Joining 2-4 client calls per weekHelping manage a team of international accountantsInitiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the companyWorking with QuickBooks Online (prior experience required)QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of financial (accounting, bookkeeping, etc.) experienceExperience with non-profit accounting preferredBachelors (or equivalent in accounting or related field)Experience with QuickBooks OnlineAttention to detailStrong time management skillsAbility to work independently
