As we continue to grow across multiple states, we are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our teams and help drive an exceptional employee experience throughout the organization.The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for delivering both strategic and day-to-day HR support across a multi-state organization. This position partners closely with leaders to address employee relations matters, interpret and apply policies, and drive process improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee experience.This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in applying HR principles, assessing risk, and recommending solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment and brings a continuous improvement mindset to HR processes and systems.Your Role:Serve as a strategic partner to leaders, providing guidance and recommendations on employee relations and policy interpretationIndependently investigate and resolve employee relations issues; assess risk and recommend appropriate actionsInterpret and apply HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent and equitable application across the organizationIdentify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experienceAnalyze trends and recurring issues to recommend proactive solutions, including policy or training updatesSupport ADA accommodations and workers’ compensation processes in partnership with leadershipMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; support audits and reporting requirementsContribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and employee handbookPartner cross-functionally to support organizational initiatives and drive alignment across teamsSupport employee engagement strategies and initiativesLeverage AI and technology tools to improve HR workflows, enhance data analysis, streamline documentation, and drive operational efficiency while ensuring appropriate use and data privacy standardsRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years of progressive HR experience; experience supporting multi-site environments preferredExperience supporting a multi-state workforce and navigating state-specific employment laws preferredStrong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and employee relations best practicesDemonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complex situationsProven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvementsStrong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel preferred) and HRIS systems (Paylocity experience a plus)BenefitsWhy H2 Health?We’re more than a workplace, we’re a team that supports your goals: Competitive compensationFlexible scheduling to support work-life balanceCareer advancement and professional growthFull benefits: medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with matchGenerous PTO, paid holidays, and company-paid life insuranceSupportive, clinician-led team cultureAdditional perks: parental leave, employee rewards, discounts, and recognition programsReady to advance your HR career in a supportive setting?
