Jenzabar is looking for a Software Developer to write, modify, and debug software for client applications. This position will work closely with the Product Development team, and report clearly and accurately to management. Perform engineering level tests to find defects, troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues; resolve issues with due urgency and maintain thorough documentation of all software solutions. Assist with research and development as well.Essential TasksWork closely and effectively with your team, management, and designers to build world class software applicationsTranslate design specifications to web or client applications that work well across multiple devicesContribute to design and architecture of our platform to meet business requirementsStay current on the latest web tools, client-side technologies, standards, and practicesWork with Quality Assurance to ensure delivery of high-quality softwareWell versed in SQL and relational databasesExperience with Microsoft SQL Server requiredAdditional TasksAssist other developers with questions; willing to help the team when askedRecommend improvements to existing software programs as necessaryConceive, experiment with, and present architectural approaches for software applications, including web, client, server, and othersEnsure architectural integrity and consistency across the entire productDesign new software applicationsProvide technical consultancy, expertise and advice to the development team and management on matters of technical architecture and infrastructure developments, including their feasibilityPromote the re-use of code, components, and systems to ensure that these support the widest range of company products possible and are aligned with technical strategyAbility and desire to both estimate tasks and meet deadlines, working effectively with minimal supervision in a team environmentWork as needed with the support team to help resolve difficult technical issues in our customer baseLeverage AI-enabled tools and analytics to enhance decision-making, improve efficiency, and drive measurable business outcomes when appropriateApply sound judgment and ethical standards when using AI, ensuring accuracy, data privacy, and responsible human-in-the-loop oversightOther duties as assignedPreferred Skills and ExperienceWrite C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PowerBuilder, or other programming languagesExperience in development of multi-tier applications and web applications using .Net framework-based OO technologies and techniquesProgramming experience utilizing C# and ASP.Net is preferredExperience developing cross-browser web applications using HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQueryKnowledge of RWD techniques and “mobile first” conceptsTwitter Bootstrap CSS Framework, knowledge of Agile/iterative development processes and higher education experience are all plusesExperience with PowerBuilder, VB6, and knowledge of administrative softwareThe pay range for this position is $65,000-$80,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, geographic location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus in addition to a full range of benefits.
