ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Head of Creators who can take ownership of a creator and affiliate program that today operates as two separate engines DTC/Shopify on one side, TikTok Shop affiliates on the other and turn them into one performance-accountable function. You’ll create a network of external creators and affiliates across both platforms, with full ownership of strategy, negotiation, attribution, and revenue impact.

THE ROLE
As Head of Creators, you’ll own the performance of the creator and affiliate program across DTC/Shopify and TikTok Shop. You’ll partner closely with brand management, paid media, Tiktok shop and the Dtc-Shopify Team on creative briefs and amplification, and with the Team lead on portfolio rollout sequencing.
This role directs creator and affiliate output. You do not personally produce content.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Creator & Affiliate Program Ownership (DTC + TikTok Shop)
Own end-to-end strategy for the creator and affiliate program across Shopify/DTC and TikTok Shop, with clear targets on attributed revenue, GMV, creator and affiliate ROI, content velocity, and paid amplification performance.
Build the creator and affiliate portfolio deliberately by tier, niche, audience, content style, conversion path, and channel fit. Not by adding bodies.
Personally manage high-value creator and affiliate relationships across both platforms top performers, mid-tier creators, macro creators, TikTok Shop affiliates, and high-potential long-term partners.
Lead all negotiations: flat fee, performance-based, hybrid retainer, commission structures, TikTok Shop affiliate terms, usage rights, whitelisting rights, exclusivity.
Build the pipeline for new creator and affiliate discovery, outreach prioritization, qualification, onboarding, and performance review across both platforms.
Provide strategic oversight on the TikTok Shop affiliate side, ensuring alignment with the unified program even where day-to-day execution is operated separately.
Build the creator and affiliate brief library: angle, hook structure, product positioning, conversion path, success metric, deadline.
Cross-Platform Attribution & ROI
Build the unified attribution stack UTM links, discount codes, affiliate tracking, TikTok Shop affiliate attribution, Shopify reporting, paid amplification lift so true creator and affiliate ROI can be measured in one view.
Standardize contracts, usage rights, whitelisting permissions, content ownership terms, renewal logic, and performance incentives across both programs.
Build a monthly performance review covering creator and affiliate ROI, content performance, top hooks, best-performing formats, audience signals, platform-specific learnings, and recommended next actions.
Identify which creator and affiliate profiles produce outsized returns on each platform and which should be cut, reactivated, renegotiated, or scaled.
Whitelisting, Paid Amplification & Portfolio Rollout
Build and manage the whitelisting program for proven creator and affiliate content across DTC and TikTok Shop.
Partner with paid media to identify which creator and affiliate assets should be amplified across Meta, TikTok, and TikTok Shop ads. Track CTR, CVR, CPA, ROAS, thumb-stop rate, hook performance, Shopify lift, and TikTok Shop conversion impact.
Document the unified playbook for portfolio rollout tiering, briefs, attribution, contracts, KPIs ready to apply to Sleephoria, Bamboo Reserve, and CooLinens within 6–12 months.
Direct AI-augmented operations: creator discovery, outreach personalization, hook generation, content scoring, attribution reporting, weekly performance audits.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Required Experience
4-5 years scaling a creator, influencer, UGC, or affiliate program with measurable revenue impact at a $1M+/year Shopify-led DTC brand
Hands-on US TikTok Shop affiliate ecosystem experience including affiliate recruitment, commission structure design, sample seeding, LIVE selling collaboration, Shop Plus / Affiliate Center workflows, and TikTok Shop performance optimization
Direct experience building or rebuilding cross-platform attribution Shopify reporting + TikTok Shop affiliate tracking + paid amplification lift in one view
Demonstrated negotiation track record across flat fee, performance, hybrid, commission, and whitelisting deal structures
AI-native workflow you already use AI for creator discovery, outreach personalization, hook generation, content scoring, reporting, or brief drafting in daily work. Not as exploration, as leverage.
Preferred Experience
Direct experience with premium bedding, sleep, wellness, or home textile brands
TikTok LIVE selling experience as a strategic lever for affiliate engagement
Multi-brand portfolio creator strategy experience
Email and lifecycle creator-content integration with measurable conversion lift
Whitelisting / dark-post paid amplification at scale (Meta dark posts, TikTok Spark Ads, similar)
WHO YOU ARE
You’re a strategic owner, not a coordinator. You take a creator program and own attributed revenue against it.You don’t deliver status updates; you deliver outcomes.
You judge content on conversion, not aesthetics. You can look at a hook and a first-three-seconds and predict whether it lands. You know the difference between portfolio-pretty and actually-converts.
You’re a systems builder. When you see a recurring problem, you don’t just dispatch you fix it once with a process change that prevents the next occurrence.
You’re AI-native, not AI-curious. You already use AI tools in your daily workflow and you treat them as leverage, not threat. Candidates who treat AI as “something the team is exploring” don’t fit.
