Role Overview:
- This role sits at the center of our nonprofit residency program.
- You will help onboard residency participants, communicate with partner organizations, track their needs, coordinate deliverables, organize requests, and help make sure media, event, and creative assets are moving forward on time.
- The right person is part project manager, part client success lead, part communications coordinator, and part creative operations support.
- You do not need to be a senior strategist, but you do need to be extremely clear, reliable, proactive, and comfortable communicating with nonprofit leaders in excellent English.
Responsibilities:
Residency Member Support:
- You will serve as a key point of contact for nonprofit residency participants, helping them understand how to use the program, what resources are available, and how to submit requests.
- You will help maintain strong relationships with members by checking in regularly, answering questions, gathering needs, and making sure they feel supported.
Project & Request Management:
- You will organize and track monthly requests from residency members, including event needs, media needs, design assets, content requests, meeting support, and other program-related deliverables.
- You will help turn loose requests into clear tasks, timelines, and next steps for the internal team.
- You will be responsible for keeping projects from falling through the cracks.
Media & Creative Coordination:
- You should have a basic understanding of media, content, social media, events, and creative production.
- You do not need to be a designer or video editor, but you should understand the difference between things like social graphics, short-form video, event photography, campaign assets, newsletters, landing pages, and basic promotional materials.
- You will help collect assets, organize files, clarify creative requests, and coordinate with internal or external creative partners.
Partner Communication:
- You will communicate with nonprofit leaders, partners, vendors, and team members through email, Slack, project management tools, and video calls.
- This role requires exceptional written and spoken English.
- Many of our partners are senior leaders, so communication must be polished, warm, and professional.
Program Operations:
- You will help improve the residency program over time by documenting processes, maintaining calendars, tracking member benefits, organizing program materials, and identifying opportunities to make the experience better for participants.
Ideal Candidate:
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.
- You are a strong communicator who can write clearly, speak confidently, and represent the studio professionally.
- You are comfortable working with nonprofits, founders, executives, community leaders, and creative teams.
- You are proactive.
- You do not wait to be told every single next step.
- You are comfortable taking messy information and turning it into organized action.
- You have good judgment, strong follow-through, and a high sense of ownership.
Requirements:
- Native-level English fluency is required.
- This role requires perfect or near-perfect spoken and written English because you will communicate directly with U.S.-based nonprofit leaders, executives, and partners.

Additional requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with clients, partners, members, or stakeholders.
- Comfort using tools like Slack, Google Drive, Notion, Airtable, Asana, Trello, ClickUp, or similar platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple requests at once.
- Basic understanding of media, social media, events, marketing, or creative production.
- Reliable internet and ability to join video calls during U.S. business hours.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Professional, warm, and emotionally intelligent communication style.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, advocacy groups, civic organizations, or social impact programs.
- Experience in a creative studio, marketing agency, media company, coworking space, or membership-based program.
- Experience coordinating events or content production.
- Experience managing client requests or creative deliverables.
- Familiarity with social media campaigns, newsletters, websites, or paid media.
- Comfort with AI tools such as ChatGPT for organizing notes, drafting communications, summarizing calls, and improving workflows.
Working Style:
- This is a remote role, but it requires someone who is present, responsive, and dependable.
- You should be comfortable working independently while staying closely connected to the team.
- We are looking for someone who can bring structure, warmth, and momentum to a growing program.
Schedule:
- Remote position.
- Availability during U.S. Eastern Time business hours is strongly preferred.
Compensation:
- Compensation will be based on experience, location, and availability.
Important Note on English Fluency:

- We are especially interested in candidates who have lived, studied, or worked extensively in the United States, Canada, or another native-English-speaking environment.
