We work hard to make sure everyone feels like part of the team.Enough about us, here’s what we’re looking for:We’re currently looking for a freelance Senior Motion Graphics Artist to join our digital team as a remote independent contractor. This role will work closely with our creative teams, specifically our Digital/Social sector, collaborating daily on high-profile entertainment campaigns.ResponsibilitiesYou will create animated motion posters from key art, for Digital, Social, and OOHAs a senior designer, you’ll bring an elevated and polished animation that goes beyond the basicsCollaborate with existing motion design team and oversight from senior staffWork constructively with producers, account managers, or other team members, as applicableUnderstand and use appropriate templates, toolkits, PSDs, fonts, and other AE projects created internally or provided by clientsOccasionally ideate motion storyboards and conceptsRequirementsExperience in motion graphics, VFX, compositing, and animating still assetsAdvanced proficiency with After Effects and native 3D, cameras, and lightsExperience with common plugins (Maxon, Optical Flares, etc)Understanding of digital video formats and export settingsProven cinematic design sensibility and ability to make a visual connection to the project narrativeA fast, reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large filesHighly reliable, self-disciplined, and comfortable working independently with tight turnaroundsExperience in the entertainment industry is a plus.Rate$300 - $750 USD per dayPlease note: You will be asked to provide your freelance rate during the application process. However, final rates are based on qualifications, years of relevant experience, and overall skill set. If your rate falls outside the stated range, we still encourage you to apply.Additional DetailsOfficial working hours are 9:30am–6:30pm PST. Hours may fluctuate based on client needs and delivery timelines. This position is fully remote and must be available to work on PST.
